A little bit about Shaheen, your massage therapist...

In early 2016, I was in a major car accident. I suffered from neck, back, shoulder, and arm injuries. After months of continuous doctors' visits and physical therapy, I was still suffering from a lot of pain and discomfort. Since my background is in pharmacy, I refused to become dependent on pain medications so I began seeking alternative, holistic therapies including massage, chiropractic care, and acupuncture.

With massage treatments every two weeks, I started to notice a difference within the first month. I had so much inflammation and tightness but as time went on I got better and better. During this time, I was also in the process of being laid off from my job. So not only were the massages helping with pain I was experiencing from injuries from the accident, but also managing my stress levels. Occasionally I'd ask the massage therapist questions about the massage profession and massage schools in the area. It was at that point I realized I wanted to help people with massage the way it helped me; and with the layoff, it couldn't have been a better time to reinvent myself. Not once did I ever see myself becoming a massage therapist.

Alas, I have found my true gift from God...

I go to Shaheen weekly! She always ask if there are any changes and do I specifically needed an area worked on. She is very professional and knowledgeable of our anatomy and what muscles and ligaments need attention! I would recommend her to anyone needing massage therapy!
