Massage therapy was there for me when I needed it the most. I was five months pregnant, tired and sore from the dramatic changes in my body. After receiving a massage, I felt revitalized, amazed by its power to relieve my pregnancy aches and pains. Therapeutic massage helped me feel relaxed and centered like nothing else could. I was inspired to become a massage therapist myself, so I could have such an incredible impact on others. I still believe this was the best career choice ever!

Life places many stresses on our bodies and minds leading to chronic pain and fatigue. Massage therapy relieves our pain and reinvigorates us by helping us learn to relax, find balance, and be present once again in our bodies.
My passion is rehabilitative massage therapy, which is a powerful tool to help clients find relief from pain and begin to heal. Rehabilitative massage is like detective work. I gather clues—your symptoms, your gait and posture, the look and feel of your muscles—in order to get at the root of the problem. I use massage techniques to allow your muscles to relax, and along the way find and release tight fascia and trigger points.
I am also a Certified Cupping Therapist. Massage Cupping is another amazing therapy as it releases muscle tension, increases circulation, decreases pain, and detoxifies the body. I am a Certified Prenatal Massage Therapist and Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist and am also trained in Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology and Swedish Massage.
What this means for you as a patient: I will create a space for you to be heard. I combine my intuition, scientific understanding of the body, experience and extensive training to create the perfect fit for you. Each massage I give is a unique, individualized conversation. Expect to leave refreshed and vibrant.
I received my professional certificate in Massage Therapy at Northwestern Health Sciences University and have been certified by the Washington Department of Health as well as the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I hold a Master's Degree from Hamline University's Graduate School of Education and have ten years of experience as an educator teaching English as a Second Language in Minneapolis and in Japan. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, listening to music, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors with my family.
