My name is Levi DuMont, I am a massage therapist and the
founder and owner of DuMont Strength & Recovery LLC. My personal approach to
massage therapy involves facilitating the bodies natural healing processes by decreasing
fascial and muscular tension followed by neuromuscular re-education. Whether it is through swedish or
deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, postural education, breathing techniques
or exercise, I aim to bring homeostasis back to the body and optimize the
innate health and wellbeing of individuals.
I received my education at the University of Oregon with a Bachelor
of Science in Human Physiology. While at UO, I was an anatomy lab teaching assistant
and performed over 16 different cadaver dissections myself. After school, I worked
at a physical therapy clinic in Eugene, Oregon for over 5 years as a strength coach
teaching patients proper movement mechanics and exercises. I was mentored by the owner Sean Roach (PHD, DPT, ATC) which allowed me to gain a broad knowledge
of all sorts of treatment techniques and theories.
By listening to the clients detailed needs and goals, together we will develop individualized treatment plans that help improve all aspects of performance in your life.

I spent 6 years as a strength coach at a Physical Therapy clinic. Utilizing my background in human anatomy and physiology I was able to effectively modify and change movement mechanics to increase strength and range of motion of the patients. I spent the last 3 years of working there teaching Strength & Exercise classes to a broad range of age groups such as teens to senior adults.
