I continued to study various massage techniques, taking over 100 hours of continuing education mostly focusing on Sports and Orthopedic Massage.

My experience growing up as a competitive gymnast and dancer provided a strong foundation for understanding the body kinesthetically, as well as the benefits of self-care and attention to the body for achieving peak performance.

I have also worked as a Wilderness Instructor teaching summer and winter backpacking, snowshoeing, sailing, rock climbing climbing, and canoeing courses; a certified Wilderness EMT; a ski patroller; and a telemark ski instructor. I have hiked, sailed, and skied in the fjords of Norway, was a top three finisher in the National Telemark Big Mountain Free Skiing Competition, and just completed my first trail marathon.
