Nina is the owner and founder of Madsen Movement and is a

(NY + OK). She received her registration
in Somatic Movement Therapy through ISMETA (The International Somatic Movement
Education and Therapy Association) in 2019 and Certificate of Movement Analysis
from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies in 2006. She graduated cum laude from the University
of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BFA in Dance in 2005 and an Associated
of Occupational Studies in 2008 from the Swedish Institute College in NYC’s
Massage Therapy program. She also
studied dance at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts and
Teatterikorkeakoulu (The Theatre Academy of Finland) in 2003 and 2004. Nina is
a resident choreographer for Oklahoma Movement, the founder of Erase the Stigma
Through Dance, and has been the proud owner of Madsen Massage Therapy, LLC for
the past 13 years. Her mission is to
guide movers towards reaching their maximum functional and expressive potential
and to find their own unique, authentic voice through movement.
