I was married in December 2017, so if you’re looking for a massage therapist by name of Alaina Bockbrader, you’ve found her! Just under a new last name. Please be aware that I do book out 2-4 weeks and advance the online calendar accordingly. I have encountered a lot of people with chronic pain, from within my own family, myself, and strangers that have come in for a massage because nothing else has worked. I have seen what the power of touch can do for people in pain and I have felt the effects myself. This lead me to massage therapy as a career with the eventual goal of making it a more main stream and accepted form of alternative health care.

I'm originally from Ann Arbor, MI but came down to Columbus, OH in 2006 to attend The Ohio State University for a BS. After graduating, I discovered M.T. Wellness, a small chronic pain clinic, that was offering LMT classes in a medical model format. So I stayed in Columbus, earned a Diploma from M.T. Wellness, and earned two years of massage experience by working at a Chiropractic office and a local Spa. I have finally decided to use my knowledge to start a business of my own. I am constantly trying to grow my skills to better help my clients by taking continuing education classes. I added Manual Lymphatic Drainage in 2014 and Craniosacral Therapy in 2017. I'm looking forward to continuing to take classes through Upledger within the realm of Craniosacral to increase my knowledge in that area.
