In April of 2007, I graduated from a 700-hour massage program and then began work as a Swedish and deep tissue massage practitioner at a high-end spa. I began to get frustrated as more and more clients would leave sessions feeling relaxed, only to return a week or a month later with the same issues they started with. My desire to experience sustained change led me to connective tissue therapy. Continuing education and a strong mentorship built the foundation for my continuing love of myofascial release and cranio sacral therapies. I have seen them help so many bodies and minds - including my own. It is the therapy I turn to when I'm in pain, stuck, hopeless, frustrated - and when I just "slept funny." It is an approach to the body as unique as each client that seeks it.
