I am a caring, respectful, and professional therapist, and I strive to be the best that I can be.  I am continuously expanding my education with seminars and learning different techniques from other therapists.  I am particularly proficient in treating clients with low back and neck pain.

Pre-Event Sports Massage

I have recently taken a continuing education course for pre-event sports massage. This is for enhancing the athlete's performance as well as helps with reducing injuries by increasing circulation and stimulating muscle tissue.

Absolutely fabulous!! First few times I went, I was so relaxed the next couple of days that I felt "wrung out." Took a while to realize what being relaxed feels like. Also, the atmosphere there always gives me a chance to "listen to my body" and realize what I need to do to prevent some of my aches and pains or to get over them faster. The 45 minute Swedish is the one for me. Gives Joni the chance to work on my neck and hips, too. That way, not only are the areas where injury and pain are bound up treated, my body is gently encouraged to release that discomfort in ways that are easiest on me. Would never have believed it if I hadn't experienced it myself. Thank you, Joni!!
