I am excited to be joining the team here at Virginia Integrative Care (VIC). I practiced at Wardell Orthopedics for the last twelve years working with great Orthopedic Surgeons and physical therapists.  Before joining that practice, I was in private practice for over ten years. I owned and operated Family Chiropractic Clinics and Mid Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute with locations in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake.  

I received my undergraduate degree from Longwood University in 1990 with a degree in Sports Medicine and a Minor in Kinesiology and from there i went on to graduate school at Parker College of Chiropractic where I graduated in 1995 with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  
While at Parker College of Chiropractic I became proficient in multiple Chiropractic techniques including, Diversified technique, Thompson Technique, Upper Cervical technique, Activator Technique and the Gonstead Technique.  I also have received additional training through my career that has enhanced my knowledge and hands on experience to better serve my patients care.

Additional training included, Advanced Certification of Competency in
Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology from the SRISD Scientific Conference, Level 2 Medical Certification from the Titleist Performance Institute, Certification to perform Manipulation Under
Anesthesia from Bridgeport University, certified in ergonomic studies for business through the back-fit association and level 2 medical practitioner through Titleist Performance Institute.

My First practice was located here in the Kempsville area so working at VIC is like coming back home.  I look forward to serving the community again to promote health and wellness.
