Troy Weatherall is a 2017 graduate of Sterling Health Center’s Basic Plus Massage Therapy Program (570 hours). The areas of education included Health & Hygiene, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, and Business and Professional Ethics. Massage techniques courses were Swedish, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Neuro-Muscular Techniques, Total Body Stretching, and Prenatal. This program also provided me with 70 hours of Clinical Application Practice in addition to the 50 hours required. During Clinical Application, I learned to effectively apply a combination of massage techniques to reach my client’s goals.
My goal is to first always be respectful and professional and second be committed to improving and learning new techniques so that I can provide each client with a customized massage to help them reach their goals and get back to enjoying life.
I am also a husband and father of 4 boys and a Marine Corps Veteran who has spent the last two decades working on semiconductor equipment. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym, reading, and watching a good movie.
My
decision to become a Massage Therapist was influenced by experiencing the many
benefits that resulted from receiving an effective massage thanks to my wife
Theresa. I also saw how rewarding it was to know that each day you go to
work, you have an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s day.
