Race Across America - 1st Place Team Massage Therapist

In 1996 I had the interesting and exciting experience of being on a team of 4 massage therapists for a relay team bike race, across America, from Irvine, CA to Savannah, GA. The race was intensely competitive between the top 3 teams, then 2, then on the final day, my team pulled ahead for a record-breaking finish! It was so exciting to have been a part of that experience and the riders were so grateful for our contribution they gave us an emotional gush of gratitude at the awards ceremony.

National Holistic Institute - Instructor, Mentor, Campus Manager

From 2002 - 2013, I worked at National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA and San Jose, CA. As an Instructor I taught the majority of all bodywork classes taught at NHI, including Shiatsu, Acupressure, Thai Massage, Energy Massage, Foot Reflexology, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Spa Body Wraps, Scrubs and Aromatherapy. I also taught anatomy and physiology classes, business and marketing classes and supervised hundreds of Student Massage Clinics.
