Rachel Emma Farmer began her healing journey in 2011 studying Healing Touch, breathwork, mindfulness, psychology and other modalities of alternative medicine at the University of Vermont. Rachel believes alternative modalities like yoga, massage, and energy work can have invaluable healing effects in nearly every dimension of our lives. Throughout university, she completed many trainings to gain a better understanding of how to heal herself and be in a better position to guide others on their healing journeys.

She graduated from her Restorative Yoga Specialist Training in 2015 through Kripalu after completing her Hatha Yoga 200-hour Teacher Training (RYT-200) in 2013 through ShivaShakti School of Yoga. She has been offering group and private instruction since 2013 and is now an ERYT-200 (experienced registered yoga teacher).

In addition to becoming a Restorative Yoga Specialist, Rachel finished a four-year Healing Touch Program in 2017 through Healing Touch International and completed the Energy Medicine Program through Energy Medicine Partnerships in 2015. She is an internationally Certified Healing Touch Practitioner registered with Healing Beyond Borders and integrates energy work into every bodywork session.

In the spring of 2018, Rachel graduated from Green Mountain Massage School after completing 630 training hours in Vermont. Throughout massage school she expanded her knowledge of different healing modalities by taking additional courses in Orthopedic Massage, Cupping Therapy, Aromatherapy, Access Bars, and Astrology.

In the fall of 2018 Grassroots Bodywork, Rachel's first business, found its home in Broomfield, Colorado to grow, expand and serve a larger population in their health and healing goals. Soon after arriving Rachel broadened her knowledge by completing a training program for Arvigo Mayan Abdominal Therapy to better serve women in their wellness goals and bring attention and intention to an area of the body that remains largely untouched. In addition, she also took a Lauren Berry Method Training, a corrective form of massage dedicated to enhancing the body’s health through addressing it’s constant balancing act in it’s relationship to gravity.

Throughout the winter of 2018-2019 Rachel expanded her knowledge of Cupping Therapy, Myofascial Release, Intuitive Herbalism and Astrology by undergoing additional training. In her development as a bodyworker and business owner, she partnered with a local massage therapist, Rob Hundley, of Beyond Bodywork, to develop a new type massage, for which they coined the name Unraveling.

In the summer of 2019 Rachel started offering workshops, focused on personal growth and healing, on Journaling, Cupping, Unraveling, and Belief Work to partner with her clients to assist them in alleviating physical and emotional pain, and also to help them walk their talk, speak their truth and be their best self.

In January 2020 Rachel dissolved Grassroots Bodywork to partner with Suzette Skidmore (LMT, MMT) to become Healing Solutions Inc where they would work with clients to relieve pain and restore lives. Rachel and Suzette went on to acquire Beyond Bodywork to integrate the best services, products and staff in all of Colorado.

The Healing Center specializes in Medical Massage, Cupping and Healing Touch to treat the source of pain post-injury so clients can live their lives to the fullest.
