I come to the massage world from the art/creative fields. I studied art in college and graduated with a BA in painting from Boise State University. Throughout my life I have worked in various creative jobs, including hair styling, fine art gallery/framing, floral design, and jewelry design (with beads and metals). I left Boise for a job in creative San Francisco, After a number of years working there, I met my husband, David, and moved back to Idaho. At that point in my life, I knew I was being called to become a massage therapist, because I had always dabbled in massage, and I had been fascinated with and drawn the body structures in school, and then I had trained in chair massage while working for Aveda Corp in the Bay Area. So, shortly after returning to Boise in 2004, I enrolled in the Idaho School of Massage Therapy and haven’t looked back. While I do all types of massage, my passion is deep tissue work, helping to restore function and balance to bodies that have become imbalanced, painful and overworked. I use various modalities (trigger point therapy, myofascial release, cross-fiber work, and neuromuscular techniques) to achieve my goals of helping restore wellness. I have a good working knowledge of human anatomy and how our muscles work together. I do my job with the understanding that we are complicated beings: Mind, body and spirit. What affects one part, affects the whole.

Bodywork practitioner
I have owned my own practice since 2018.
I worked for 14 years in a top Boise spa and bring that spa aesthetic to my bodywork practice. I believe our bodies respond with relaxation to lovely smells, sights and sounds. If we relax, then we are able to release tension and contraction more easily. That makes my job easier.
