Michelle finished her Masters of Education, Early Childhood Special Education in 1993. She worked for the public schools in Twin Falls and Boise while collaborating with Physical and Occupational Therapists. During this time Michelle learned the validity and importance of sensory stimulation, pressure points, and weighting to assist with proprioception and balance. She homeschooled her children for 7 years.
During an illness, Michelle had the opportunity to receive Manual Lymphatic Drainage biweekly. During this time, the understanding and desire to learn massage techniques grew. Michelle attended Broadview University and completed her Associates of Applied Science, Massage Therapy. While there she took additional courses through Upledger, Society for Oncological Massage, and Academy of Lymphatic Studies to specialize in craniosacral, myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, and oncological massage.
She currently teaches classes at Cancer Connection and works with children at Idaho Pediatric Therapy Clinic.
