One of my favorite acupressure points is the one to relieve the sinuses and I usually incorporate it into each therapy session.
Corporate chair massage is a great way to let your staff know that they are appreciated and that is why I enjoy being a part of that type of event.
Reflexology is a technique that uses acupressure points for the ears, hands and feet. It can be very relaxing. I may not be able to tell you exactly what each acupressure point means, but it sure does feel good.
Hot stone massage uses the heat from stones to go deep into the muscle tissue for a good release of the tension in the body, BUT it can also be used as a soothing heat for deep relaxation.
A swedish massage is a very relaxing massage and can be received as often as needed.
Trigger point therapy can be a very effective tool for a massage therapist. I have had great success in using this technique with very good results. It may require a little participation from the client, but it very well worth it.
A pregnancy massage can begin during the second trimester. Since a pregnancy does so many changes to the body, a massage can help relieve some of these discomforts without harming the baby. My prenatal massages will include a soothing touch for the baby too, because after all the mommy and baby are one.
I'm currently certified as a Master Medical Massage Practitioner, but all that means, is that I have additional training to assist with certain medical conditions. I will not diagnose any conditions for clients, but I have had several doctors refer their patients to me for therapeutic care for their client's condition. I do not offer any insurance billing, nor do I provide any documents that may be needed for medical reimbursement.
Deep tissue is helpful in relieving the tension knots in the body. Every muscle doesn't usually need the deep pressure, but if is does, I'm able to use my hands, fists, forearms or elbows to relieve your tension.
