He is also nationally certified in Synergetic Structural Integration under Magnus Ecklund. This is a deep tissue form of myofascial work which is very effective in loosening fascial restrictions. It is performed with little or no lotion and on top of the sheets. It is based on the work of Ida Rolf and is deep structural postural work.

The client wears shorts, sports bra, tube top, etc. It is not a relaxation massage but is very effective as it involves different positions (sidelying), active involvement by the client, and stretching. It is much more structurally and posturally based and is more effective in returning the body to its natural balanced state than regular massage.                                                                                            Tom also is proficient in sports massage and stretching. He is nationally certified in Active Isolated Stretching under Aaron Mattes. This form of stretching was developed under Aaron Mattes who is known as the guru of stretching. It was developed by Aaron Mattes  and is the most effective type of stretching.  Clients wear gym clothing to receive this. Athletes and people who love to work out benefit greatly from both Structural Integration and Active Isolated Stretching.

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

Tom really listened to my problem areas and helped me and taught me ways to treat!

Tom was incredible. Really helped reduce my tightness of neck, hips, and more. He carefully explained everything he was doing and was a great listener. This was yesterday afternoon and have already recommended him to two of my friends and husband. He also taught me exercises to keep doing at home to maintain flexibility. Highly recommend.

Tom’s technique is very good and helpful for my pain
by Kristie on Jun 25
The massage I booked was for pain management because I was having issues moving my neck. Tom was very knowledgeable with each neck muscle stretch and explained every procedure. He also made sure I was comfortable during each stretch. He didn't just work on my neck muscles because he could tell I was tight all the way down my entire back. I can honestly say this procedure was a "no pain no gain" experience. I went home, applied ice and took ibuprofen as directed. He worked out the, stretched out and extended each tight muscle until it released. The next morning, I was able to move my neck. After one year of having neck pain and headaches. I want to thank Tom so much for making my neck, back and head feel so much better.
