Hello Maine! My name is Genna. I'm a graduate of The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and The University of the Arts: Conservatory of Dance. I’m a Certified Pilates Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist and have over 12,000 hrs in training and clinical practice working with folks suffering from a multitude of different musckuloskeltal, digestive, neuromuscular, and reproductive sytem ailaments.
As a former dancer I was drawn to this line of work as a means to find relief from a litany of chronic conditions that had built up over the years of performing in NYC.
School served as a jumping off point for my curiosities and I went on to pursue post graduate studies in pathology, motor control, neuromuscular stabilization and biomechanics.
In clinical practice my specialty is integrating both therapeutic touch and movement reeducation into the same treatment but I also administer massage and pilates services separately. My ultimate goal is to provide the most comprehensive care for my clients and a safe container for folks to simply wind down and listen to their body.
