Katie was born and raised in a small town in Ohio. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies. After graduating college, Katie joined the Peace Corps as a Community Health volunteer, living and working in rural Paraguay. After returning from the Peace Corps, Katie moved to the Big Island of Hawai'i to work in the mental health field at a horticultural therapy center. That is where Katie's passion for the mind body connection started.

Katie recently graduated from Central Oregon Community College as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Katie is passionate about the human body and it's ability to heal itself. She is excited to assists people in their healing journey - whether it's recovering from an injury, wanting to relax and unwind, or to help athletes in decreasing delayed onset muscle soreness. In her free time, you can find her out backpacking in the mountains or relaxing by the river.
