Ashley Duffus-Jambor has been practicing massage since 2013,  and is enthusiastic about helping people feel their best. She's particularly drawn to deep tissue and treatment work, but utilizes a holistic approach to maximize positive results, including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, acupressure and assisted stretching. She also practices cupping therapy, which she believes everyone can benefit from, due to its ability to loosen knots and relieve tension very quickly.

Because of her active lifestyle that she began at a young age, Ashley understands the aches and pains that come with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, as she is an avid mountain biker, skier and general outdoors enthusiast. She thoroughly enjoys helping people find relief from chronic issues, neck and low back pain are two of her specialties, and she particularly enjoys working with athletes, keeping them in fighting shape! She has experience working with all types of people, from professional athletes to those with postural pain from an office job or chronic migraines. She particularly enjoys working with anyone who wants less pain, as her preferred work is concentrated and detailed. She regularly recommends self-care homework, for people who wish to take their healing to another level!

Ashley is extremely personable and enjoys working with people, not just their bodies. She enjoys putting together the puzzle of how pain began in the first place, by asking questions about lifestyle. She thinks that there’s a lot of good that can come from having a working relationship with your massage therapist… she likes to get to know your body and habits so she can help you better! Her clients call her intuitive, thorough and detail oriented.
*If you want a quiet massage, let her know! (She sees a benefit in working together towards your healing goals… whether during the massage or after!)

Ashley studied Tourism and Outdoor leadership before becoming a massage therapist, and held many outdoor industry jobs... guiding rafts and rock climbing, teaching kayaking and working in ski resorts. Through numerous injuries and lots of knee pain, she found massage therapy to be her calling and completed her massage training at Whatcom Community College. She spent several years working at an athletic club in Bend, Oregon, as well as for spas and chiropractors (two ends of the bodywork spectrum!) which gives her a great variety of knowledge on the body.

When Ashley isn’t in her office, you’re most likely to find her on Galbraith with her border collie, Jasper.

I have been seeing Ashley for almost 2 years now, and I would highly recommend her! As an avid runner, Ashley keeps me moving when my legs/hamstrings/IT Bands are tight and sore. Her intuition, methods and techniques to the active human body are incredible and a true gift to injury prevention and keeping me healthy. From adding mobility, reducing aches and pain, as well as stress and tension relief when needed as well across my shoulders and upper back from working at a computer all day - consistently seeing Ashley is part of my self-care and exercise routine.

I have a fantastic chiropractor, but Ashley helped to relieve some issues in my body my Chiropractor was unable to. She really knows what your body needs, and how to address it. I am so happy to have found her!

It was a relaxing environment and I felt super comfortable right away! Massage was exactly what I’ve been wanting. Ashley asked throughout the 1.5 hours to make sure pressure was enough or too much. Definitely recommend!
