She is also certified in Myofascial Release and soft tissue mobilization (with advanced training in soft tissue), as well as Oncology massage therapy having completed a 96-hour course with Jeff Mahadeen at the Muscular Wellness Institute and a 32-hour credited course with Tracey Walton on caring for clients with cancer. Diane is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and has a National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork since 2008. This certification distinguishes the therapist with hard-earned continuing education, hands-on experience and dedication to the profession.

Due to the holistic nature of her practice, Diane chooses continuing education that focuses on honing her skills toward helping clients achieve optimal tension relief and overall wellness. While all massage treatments are therapeutic to some degree, a clinical approach incorporating assessment, a treatment plan, and goal setting helps you identify the source of your muscular problems, and educates you on self-care. This approach will enhance the release achieved during treatment.

Working with clients, Diane relies on subtle body cues and careful listening to tailor the experience to her client’s unique preferences and needs. Diane is happiest when her clients leave feeling deeply relaxed with a new sense of possibility and can get back to their favorite activities with less pain.
