A little about me
I am a lifelong learner and passionate student of health, wellness and the miraculous human body. I started my life’s work in the compassionate arts as a caregiver in 1996. A consuming passion for exercise science and nutrition took me back to school (Oregon State) and to the gym where I began working as a Personal Trainer in 2008. It was there that I became interested in manual therapy as a means to better-help my clients with their musculoskeletal and mobility issues. I subsequently went to school and graduated in 2011 with a Diploma with Honors in Massage, Sports Massage, and Spa Therapies from Everest Institute, Tigard, OR.
I am known for spending generous time listening, assessing, and tailoring each session to you and your individual needs. As a former chronic pain sufferer, this kind of attentiveness was something I rarely found and truly appreciated from healthcare providers. I know the arduous pitfalls often involved with recovery, and bring a unique compassion, understanding and expertise to the table because I've been there.
I am passionate about educating my clients and helping them move better and without pain. Whether you sit behind a desk or are an elite-level athlete looking for the best in bodywork--you've found it. I've worked with athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS, as well as elite-level runners, cyclists, CrossFit Champions, collegiate athletics, celebrities and more.
I am a mom to four incredible daughters and two fur-babies. My spare time is given to school—completing my BS in Kinesiology—reading, gymming, hiking, and Salsa dancing.
