I embarked on a career in Massage Therapy years ago after graduation from The American Institute of Massage Therapy.  Things were a lot different then and the profession had not yet fully recognized by the public as a health option for chronic pain and suffering.   The term bodywork always resonated with me because it represented a holistic approach to healing.  Today, the term is widely used and recognized as an alternative to modern medicine and surgery for conditions that benefit from it.
