Kate Weber may be new to the Evergreen State, she moved here in September of 2022, but she is not new to the wisdom of the Vedic traditions of yoga and ayurveda! Kate has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years and completed yoga teacher trainings in 2015 and 2018. She has taught yoga in the community, in prisons, parole offices, police academies, on the beach and even for her nephew’s basketball team! Kate's yoga classes have been called a 'spiritual workout' for her fusion of physical poses (asanas) with a depth of inner work.
Kate was introduced to Ayurveda through both of her yoga teacher trainings and started formally studying the practice in 2022 when she began her education as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor. She is continuing her studies to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner with Kerala Ayurveda USA. Kate is looking forward to offering Ayurvedic intakes for folks, as well as follow up appointments to empower people to find greater balance, harmony, peace and longevity in their lives.
With Camano Island Bliss, Kate is happy to offer the following services:
When she isn’t studying, Kate enjoys chanting, dancing, roller skating, hiking, traveling and spending time with her partner and dogs! Kate believes that each of us has the innate ability to heal from within and the use of these ancient practices simply help us to remember. In 2018, Kate completed her 500 hours of yoga teacher training education. This provided a very deep and transformative understanding of properly sequencing community yoga classes, broadening her own daily personal practice, learning more about the gross and subtle anatomy of the human body and set her life on a whole different course that eventually led to her studying Ayurveda.
