My name is Leomie Patterson, and I am a licensed massage therapist, and a native of Raleigh North Carolina. My passion for helping the geriatric population was inspired during my youth years by my grandmother, whose dedication led her to establishing a business that catered to their needs. Starting from her own home, she devoted her time and efforts; over time, her business thrived, expanding to operate through three care homes. Her inspiration deeply impacted my life, igniting a strong desire within me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the geriatrics.
Also, throughout my 28 years of experience as a certified nurse assistant the most common complaints among elderly individuals have been chronic pain, depression, and anxiety. This being said, I had the ability to integrate my experience with elderly concerns to provide a respected and well-known service that's needed by many. Massage therapy helps with reducing anxiety and depression, insomnia, improving sleep quality and improving vitality. Being able to alleviate these symptoms has become my purpose.
I'm fully committed to dedicate my services to a population that really needs it the most. Lean on Me Massage is distinguishable among its competitors in that it provides services in the privacy and comfort of your own home.
I obtained my certification from Gwinnett College in the year of 2022-2023 where I achieved a 4.0 GPA and was placed on both the President's and Dean's list.
At Gwinnett College, I was trained and provided with scientific knowledge, manual skills, and mastery of business. Other key topics that were covered to prepare me for massage career were Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, chair massage, Reflexology, sports massage, anatomy, physiology, business skills and techniques in order to succeed in the workplace.
With my warm and compassionate demeanor, I create a comfortable and rejuvenating experience for all those who seek my expertise.

The massage I received from Lean on Me Massage was the best! Leomie Patterson arrived ahead of schedule and quickly set up the area for the massage. She worked with the space I had in my bedroom and used a lotion that felt as smooth as silk. It had a pleasant fragrance which created a calming sensation and the music used added to the ambiance. Leomie applied pressure to release tension in my neck and shoulder. The massage on my back was very relaxing. Leomie showed great skill and professionalism during the massage. She noted which muscles needed a firmer touch. I felt revitalized after the massage. I immediately scheduled another massage next month. I am very happy to recommend Lean On Me Massage to you. Leome is very special and her geriatric massage is magic. My 102 year old mother had never had a massage before and didn’t think she’d ever want one. But as she is now bedridden, we felt that it would help with her circulation. I can tell you that my mom was absolutely in a blissful state during her massage…said it was just heavenly. She was so relaxed and fell into a deep sleep afterwards. Leome is very skilled and knowledgeable about working with elderly clients and we completely trust her. Now my mom can’t wait for her next Leome massage!
