My name is Lacy Apfelbeck, and I am the owner and principal therapist at Angel’s Touch Massage Therapy. I had practiced in Medford WI Oct 2001-Oct 2019. I currently am on a three year maternity leave and have relocated to MN with our beautiful family of four. With intentions to return to a past time love I continue to uphold my National Board Certification and WI state license. My specialty is chronic and acute pain relief, using techniques from my training in CranioSacral Therapy, NeuroMuscular massage and Myo Trigger Point Therapy. I have learned through years of practice that for many patients, these specific types of soft tissue manipulation can provide swift and sometimes unexpected relief from a wide range of issues, including sciatica, whiplash, rotator cuff issues, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, migraines, plantar fasciitis, knee, leg and low back pain. CranioSacral, Neuromuscular and Myo Trigger Point massage can also help children with a variety of issues, including ADHD, scoliosis, headaches, muscle and stomach aches and pain.

The advantage of being a Certified NeuroMuscular Therapist is it gives me the knowledge and ability to quickly identify the root cause of a clients. Assessing individual muscles, from their origin to insertion and through one layer of soft tissue at a time.
CranioSacral Therapy is a tool that has taught me to really listen to a person's soft tissue. It is a soft, soothing technique that produces miraculous like results. When someones pain won't release through more traditional techniques this one usually does the trick. Often times the persons pain was hung up in what we call a somatic response or emotion of the event at the time of injury.
Allowing a client to share their story around traumatic, abusive or tumultuous events can free the physical body and repair strain and tension patterns. The result is relief from pain, a clearer mind and tools to manage one's own emotional responses to life.
Assess clients for cognitive Structure imbalances that maybe causing the client pain. By identifying underlying causes we are able to eliminate muscular imbalances, relieve pain, and regain flexibility. Teaching self-care techniques are a part of the long term recovery process.
